Green tea
Green tea is not fermented after harvesting, which means it retains its fresh, green colour and its delicate, slightly tart flavour. In our range, you’ll find two classics: the mild, delicately tart Sencha, which produces a pale-coloured brew, and the Superior-quality Gunpowder Temple of Heaven, whose leaves are rolled into small balls and produce an aromatic, tart brew. Brewing tip: Green tea tastes best when brewed with water that has cooled slightly, rather than boiling water. In the ‘Flavoured Green Tea’ sub-category, you’ll also find fruity and spicy flavoured varieties.
